Black Heart http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CATxCkAW0rA&feature=related is a modern cautionary tale, an urban drama examining the relationships that tie hearts into sometimes stifling bonds with unhealthy dependencies, all with predictable results. What is pleasantly unpredictable is the effect the deft hand of producer Kenya Cagle (“Goodnight Charlie”) will have on this production. In his role of producer, co-director, there's no telling who will end up behind or in front of the camera. His decision to use budding, young writer/director, Stephanie Walker, nicknamed “The Task Master,” on this his 30th independent film, and is one of those deft moves.

Black Heart is Cagle's 30th film. One of his most favorite and acclaimed films is the 2005 film “Goodnight Charlie” which was presented in more than a dozen festivals winning several awards including Best Picture in a 2005 festival held in Spain. Recently, “Black Heart” won the Best Film Award at the 2011 Philadelphia Film Festival in Philadelphia. Now the film screen at three more film festivals in Los Angeles and New York: the Action On Film Festival in July, the Maysles Cinema in August and October.

ETCETERA Returns With The Release Of His New Single "Black Dress" Featuring Chestory Gregory

Picture
NEW YORK, NY - December 8, 2010 - Today's music landscape continues to be competitive with independent artists and signed artists both topping the charts and earning Grammy nods.  Back up is the multitalented songwriter/recording artist, ETCETERA, who is releasing his brand new single “Black Dress” featuring the multi-award winning Broadway star Chester Gregory from the musical stage play “Dreamgirls.”

Black Dress is the first single being released from the Brooklyn based artist's forthcoming album,. due early 2011. The single also shares the name of his new women's fragrance. Both the single and fragrance were inspired by the artist's brief encounter with the implausible Kim Kardashian on the red carpet at the 2009
Grammy Awards, where he was featured as “The New Face to See” on the red carpet according to AP, MSN, FOX and ABC News.

The single
“Black Dress” is an irrefutably dynamic song produced by newcomer JV of Around One Music and is filled with the ingredients of a classic record. It brings the drums of a rhythmic chant and the bass that makes it undeniably hard to keep still. The sounds are blended just right to offer that universal appeal. In comes the Brooklyn Edgar Allen Poe, ETCETERA, with his pen exhibiting word play and metaphors that blankets the track. Finally, the song is tucked in by Chester Gregory, the Broadway entertainer, with his sultry range. ETCETERA is able to paint a vivid Claude Monet in words of his unforgettable encounter with Ms. Kim Kardashian.
