Who is Chuck Dogg the Triple Threat?

A producer, DJ and Radio/Artist Talent…

“The Triple Threat” is something that Egypt, another famous radio personality and friend, came up with. She asked me the same… damn…question lol. And then she reminded me of my many talents and said “you are like a triple threat”. So It stuck!

Where are you from?

I’m originally from Detroit, MI.

How did you get on Power 105.1?

I worked my way up through the streets and the radio trenches. I was always a great networker and a focused worker. I had been on a “tour” throughout the country boosting ratings for many stations. One of my old bosses from WJLB in Detroit re-hired me in New York based on my talent and work ethic. He, among others, felt that I had paid my dues in several markets and deserved the opportunity to be here on Power 105.1 in New York, the world’s largest radio market. He also felt that New York was the best place for me to propel into my greatest potential as an artist and producer as well.

What new ventures are you working on?

I am the CEO and Founder of Spektrum Music, Inc. (a new web platform) and also Spektrum Bookings (event production and talent booking). SpektrumMusic.com is set to be the world’s leader for networking and e-commerce tools for musicians, fans and industry people. The label is planning to sign additional artists who are successful within the community’s platform.

Who are you working with?

Right now, on the production side, I am working with a new artist signed to Universal named Mika Means. She has heat! She is releasing her first single feat. Lil Wayne, which hits the streets next week. I am an artist as well signed to SpektrumMusic.com. I’ve already got the first 4 joints done for my upcoming album featuring some well-known and unsigned talent.

I DJ at many club venues around the city and abroad. There is usually a posting on my web pages above.

What time/day does your show come on?

Saturday afternoons…I’m a prime time guy…2pm – 6pm :).

What projects are you working on?

I am working on my first official mixtape with Coast2Coastmixtapes.com. They are huge in the streets and approached me about working with them. My first mixtape release with Coast2Coast, Spektrummusic.com Presents Chuck The Triple Threat Vol. 1 “D-Day” hits the Internet and streets on Friday the 13th!!
